Map of Texas With Parts of The Adjoining States. An historic map of Texas compiled by Stephen F Austin and published by H. S. Tanner. The map depicts much of Texas as it was in 1835 and includes colony and land grant data. The original map was hand colored. Relief is shown by the hatchuring technique of the period. Additional notation under the title reads: "The latitude and longitude of Saltillo, Monterey, Laredo, Bexar, Nacogdoches, and the point where the boundary line leaves the Sabine are from the observations of General Teran of the Mexican Army." A great addition to either home or office decor. The map is printed on heavy parchment-like paper with archival inks. The paper map dimensions are 24.25" x 20", framed dimensions are 26" x 21.75". |
